Job Specification
RYC Assistant Lifestyle Content Editor
Purpose of the job:
To oversee the accuracy and quality of information for golf courses on the RYC sites within the specific RYC area. Responsibilities include checking and editing golf course information on the sites and improving the Meta data.
Reporting:
The team members will report to the Lifestyle Content Editor of the specific site.
Responsibilities:
- Select an allocated site and gather all appropriate information from the web.
- Where limited information exists, obtain the information through other sources e.g. telephone.
- Analyse information and update on RYC as per the examples provided.
- Add Meta-Data
- Where the listing doesn't have a website,obtain an e-mail address and any other additional contact information.
- Update frequently asked questions on the forums
- Participation in the Forums e.g Posts
- Create a blog and update bi- weekly
