"We have just returned from the Lakeside Lodge and it was amazing. The lodge itself is so warm, cosy, homey and well equipped. The setting is fantastic and the view from every window is picture perfect. The owners are so friendly and welcomed us when we arrived and the bottle of bubbly was a nice touch too, which we enjoyed in the hot tub over looking the lake. The surrounding beaches are just a short drive away(if you are taking your dog they are not aloud on certain beaches between 1st May-1st Sept) This is a perfect setting for a relaxing break and we can't wait to return. :D x "

"If you are looking for peace and quiet with lovely surroundings then this is the holiday for you. It was so peaceful with great accommodation (it had everything, and was very clean and modern), a hot tub and the shower was amazing. A fanastic view onto the lake with ducks and swans too. The best holiday we have had so far in the UK - I would recommend it to anyone and we will be back soon."
