"This was the most wonderful place! The service, the accommodation and the area were all superb. We had a lodge with a hot tub and came back feeling totally rejuvenated. The village of Longnor is a 2 minute drive (it was December so we didn't fancy the walk and it's very dark), and we had two fantastic meals - I would highly recommend The Horseshoe. We were made to feel very welcome wherever we went in the Peak District. A fabulous winter break, but I only wished it could have been longer so we could have visited more wonderful places. "

"The accommodation is excellent and caters for everthing you need in terms of facilities and equipment inside the cabin. Great for walking around the villages and visiting Buxton and Bakewell. The park was very peaceful and the cabin proved to be of a high standard."

"A great location with luxury accommodation."

"Excellent lodges. Very helpful staff. Stunning scenery all round the area. Brilliant for walkers with Tissington and Manifold Valley Trails along old railway lines. Also miles of footpaths across country. Marvellous Pubs and eating places. Particularly recommend Duke of Devonshire in Hartington."
