For my Campsite Review of the Loch Ness Caravan & Camping Park I found it was a very easy-going site - we arrived mid-evening and were told to book in at the bar! Pitch offered was right next to the bar but they were happy to swap it for one a little further away which suited us better.
Beautiful setting, on the banks of Loch Ness with mountains opposite, but what a shame the site was almost completely concrete. No sightings of Nessie which was probably a good thing!
Lists of rules around the place and showers with push-buttons that gave about a minute's hot water before you had to push it again. Not many showers or toilets but all clean and the water was hot (while it ran!!)
The bar, snooker, tele etc seemed popular but we really just wanted to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Also the most expensive site we stayed in. Still, it was central, easy to find and functional enough for all we wanted to do before moving on the next morning.
