I booked this for a social gathering, the problem started when I was asked the capacity of my tent. Now there's only 2 of us and a roomy tent, but they wanted to charge based on the number of people I could fit in the tent.

I'm now in the most expensive camp site I've ever stayed in at £37 a night for 2 of us. Better be good.....

Stayed over a holiday weekend, the camp was packed and uncomfortably so, campers had to be sure that others would be able to get there cars out, so we had 3 tents within a 5 metre radius.

I reckon there were 150 ish campers, FOUR showers in the camping section (we did have the choice of walking to other parts of the site to be fair, but I don't really need tat much exercise!). So on the Saturday I had to go back and forth to the showers which were always in use. Hand soap ran out about mid afternoon, toilet paper by late that evening. The state of the toilets by 9am on the Sunday was atrocious.

Nice location, child friendly but overpriced and sadly lacking in facilities, overbooked beyond capacity. Really spoiled my weekend which is why I'm writing this.
