  We are situated high up overlooking the Somerset Levels, because of this we can not & will not ever flood. The ground is in general 8" of top soil and then onto White Lias Rock, therefore we drain extremely well. Our Camping & Touring area is open plan with electric hookup's around the edge and none-hookup pitches in the centre. The whole area is set on White Lias Stone and therefore drains extremely well, and it is advisable to bring some rock pegs with you. Guest Listing Details

For my Campsite Review of the Bowden's Crest Caravan & Camping Park:( :( :( AVOID THIS SITE :( :( :( I stayed on one of their static caravans - advertised as Modern well equipped - this was OLD and DANGERIOUS - No Smoke Alarm - Exposed Electric Consumer Unit - Floor broke through. - I have reported the site to both the TRADING STANDARDS, as well as the holiday star rating people. Further to Ians comments about moving his car some 12" - I was asked to move my car onto a grass verge - where other vehicles could easily have backed into my car!! The other comments refer to a clean tidy site - this we found to be correct, and was pleasent - but the 16 Acre site seems a stretch of the truth. DO NOT RENT A STATIC CARAVAN FROM THEM - would be my advice :( :( Additional Information
