For my campsite review of the Brokerswood Country Park I felt that this is a great site, we camped here for a long weekend in May. It's situated in a Country Park with acres of beautiful woods to walk in, a lake and plenty of children's play areas, also a little train which takes you on a short ride through the woods.

The check-in process was quick and easy with friendly welcoming staff. The campsite was nice and flat, mainly grass, with some hard standing pitches for caravans. All pitches are a good sized & most have EHU available. Also a water tap never seemed to be far away.

The shower block is bright and modern, with powerful showers. I was pleasantly surprised to find there was no annoying timer button to keep pressing every minute. It also had some separate private wash basin cubicles. 20p to use the hairdryer. The block is cleaned regularly and we never had to queue. The only negative point was the lights run on a sensor so difficulties when showering or using the loos being stuck in the pitch black.

There is a small shop which stocks essentials, toys & gifts. There is also a cafe which serve cooked breakfast and light lunches etc.
All in all a very relaxing weekend with our two young children, plenty to keep everyone happy.
