Beaulieu River

This is a delightful walk alongside the Beaulieu River with many stop over points and viewing sites the walk goes via Bucklers Hard use Geocache GCPEJP

The walk is pretty easy to navigate as it is pretty well marked and the path is well used by the locals.

Simple Directions 1) Start in the Pay and display car park next to the Beaulieu garage.
2) Walk back to the entrance of the car park and turn right walking back towards town
3) Walk between the buildings with the tea room on your left and proceed across the road into a narrow alley (the walk is marked on the wall)
4) Pass the school on your right and then turn right into Taylers Close you will see a gate that marks the beginning of the route.
5) At Baileys Hard go past the Brickyard Cottage into Keeping Copse.
6) The track swings to the right and you will see the waymarked route to Bucklers Hard.
7) A couple of yards down the route you can select the walk alongside the River or go the direct route.
8) Return the same route once you have arrived at Bucklers Hard

Great walk along the river to Bucklers hard

A great walk and one that can be done easily with the kids. We did the walk in winter and the ground was covered in snow so we will definately like to do it again in summer
