"A fantastic place to stay and so relaxing being away from the hustle and bustle. The lodge is top class with everything you need, the hot tub was relaxing and if you're looking to get away without anybody to bother you for miles, then this is the place. York is 10 minutes away in the car, the coast is about 45 minutes away and the local village has pubs and supermarkets (ten minutes in the car). The park owners are very friendly and the lodge has excellent heating and is very warm. The hot tub makes it with a cold beer in one hand, snow all around you and sat in the bubbles all warm with nothing for miles. Myself, my wife and my 9 month old daughter spent the week there and fully enjoyed it - I would recommend it for peace and quiet, a lovely place."

"The lodge was nice and spacious, especially just for 2 plus the dogs! We felt the standard of accommodation was very good and reasonable - we have spent much more and stayed in far inferior lodges which were much more expensive. Good value for money and pleased with the facilities in the lodge."
Ms R, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne And Wear, 20th Nov 2009

"The accommodation was first class, a good size for 4 people, spotless, the views were excellent, ideally situated for York and the staff were very helpful."
Mr L, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, 30th Oct 2009

"We had a wonderful, peaceful break. The location was excellent - the wonderful city of York was just a few miles down the road, however, the farm was so quiet you felt as though you were in the middle of nowhere! We loved watching the cows pass our accommodation from the hot tub!"
Mr O, MORECAMBE, Lancashire, 19th Oct 2009

"Very peaceful but only a short drive away from York's attractions - brilliant!"
Miss W, DEWSBURY, West Yorkshire, 11th Sep 2009
