The service, the accommodation and the area were all superb. We had a lodge with a hot tub and came back feeling totally rejuvenated. The village of Longnor is a 2 minute drive (it was December so we didn't fancy the walk and it's very dark), and we had two fantastic meals - I would highly recommend The Horseshoe. We were made to feel very welcome wherever we went in the Peak District. A fabulous winter break, but I only wished it could have been longer so we could have visited more wonderful places.
