The cottage provided us with everything we needed, the yard and playing area were secure and it was nice to show him the animals too. The cottage was very warm and cosy and the location was perfect to get to the places we wanted to visit. We went to Sewerby Hall and Gardens (was recommended in the cottage visitors book), and was very impressed. Despite the house itself being closed, the petting zoo was ideal for our son and the Clock Tower Tearooms were great value. We would higly recommend Bickley Cottage to others who have small children.
