It is cosy, homely and well equipped as a home from home. It has loads to do in the surrounding area and is an ideal base for touring the highlands. We had 4 adults and two children and found this accomodation excellent value for money and a wonderful holiday home. We will be back. "
Mr S, STIRLING, Stirlingshire, 3rd Aug 2009

"Good value for money , very comfortable and well equipped cottages in excellent locations."
Mrs V, ALTRINCHAM, Cheshire, 31st Jul 2009

"I just wanted to write to tell you that my family loved Bluebell House during their stay last week! My husband and I went to see them a few times and we were all struck by the loveliness of the house as well as the fact that it really did have everything anyone could want, in every way. If someone needed something, it only took a quick look around to find that the required item (from utensils to small appliances) was already there. It's very comfortable and homey and also very pretty, and it's obvious that lots of care went into renovating the rooms and making everything just so, for guests. The welcome basket was much appreciated and my family truly enjoyed their stay there. I'll definitely be recommending Bluebell House to anyone else who comes to stay in Helmsdale. It's a delight! "
Ms S, 18th Jul 2009

"The cleanliness on arrival and the welcome pack were exceptionally good. A delightful property in a wonderful location!"
Mr S, Keswick, Cumbria, 2nd May 2009

"We had a very good holiday and the cottage was comfortable and every thing was there that we needed and more. "

MR R, DUNBAR, East Lothian, 19th Sep 2009

"The cottage is in a most wonderful setting in remote countryside but so convenient for touring and visits. Ideal location for a perfect holiday, well worth the long journey from most parts of England."
Mr S, MARKET RASEN, Lincolnshire, 12th Sep 2009

"The cottage and the owners are first class, so very helpful and full of local knowledge. Take walking shoes, a picnic, and head down the glens - it is another world and totally unexpected. You will need a week or two to explore the area, and it is so beautiful. Go salmon and trout fishing as the rivers are full of fish, or use the cottage as a base to travel further afield to the Black Isle and Ullapool for tea and cakes on the sea wall, one word - magic!"
Mr M, BAGILLT, 6th Jun 2009

"I would recommend this holiday to those without children who want to get away from the hussle bussle of everyday life and relax in the quiet and beautiful surroundings of this cottage, which, although it could be described as remote, is a central starting point for exploring the many different locations surrounding Inverness."
Mrs V, BOURNE LINCS, 2nd May 2009

"The property and location were exactly as described in the brochure (very good) and the value for money was excellent. "

The beach was on the doorstep with wonderful views across the bay to Hoy. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and we were made very welcome by the owner. This was also a good location for exploring the north coast of Scotland. John o'Groats is only 20 miles away with day trips to Orkney and fantastic boat trips provided by North Coast Marine. Many beautiful beaches and places of historical interest. The exhibition in Thurso was excellent."

Beyond expectations!!"
Miss A, HUDDERSFIELD, 10th Oct 2009

"An absolutly fantastic cottage and the attention to detail was superb. We were left shortbread and milk upon our arrival and the kitchen cupboards were well stocked with the basics. The rooms were stunning and the views were outstanding. Its definitely worth a visit to chanonry point where we saw lots of dolphins about 50ft from the shore, and nairn beach is worth the drive as it has lots for kids including a paddling pool park and the beach is lovely. We will definitely return!"
Mrs H, Hertford, Herts, 8th Aug 2009

"Excellent accommodation! Extremely tastefully and comfortably furnished with everything you could want or need. Beautiful views over Loch Ness, it was worth the journey just to stay in the house! "
