"We have been going to this property for a number of years and find the location good and the accommodation excellent. Ideal for dog lovers and we are going back later this year!"
Mr C, GLASTONBURY, 30th May 2009

"I would highly recommend this property. It was very clean and comfortable, and in a very pleasant location near to Carbis Bay."
Mrs I, DINAS POWYS, 23rd May 2009

"The location was wonderful and the cottage was just a dream. We will certainly be looking at booking the same cottage again. I can't praise the owners enough for the superb, clean and comfortable accommodation!"
Miss M, SLOUGH, 25th Apr 2009

"I have returned to Trispen several times in the last six years and I would recommend this bungalow highly. It is always clean and tidy with everything to make it a home from home but with beautiful scenery and places of interest to visit. There is a supermarket within walking distance and there are many restaurants that do excellent food within a short car ride away. I am going to Trispen again in September that is proof that I give it my wholehearted recommendation!"
Mrs L, Tamworth, Staffordshire, 21st Mar 2009

"great base for those with pets to take in the beautiful scenary of this part of Cornwall. We have been going to this property for over six years and would recommend to anyone as very comfortable accommodation. "

It was cosy, homely and welcoming, with lovely little extra touches, and the owner was welcoming and only to happy to help. Well equipped and perfect for young children, providing a bed rail and bath mat, and perfect for my 2 year old son who also loved the wide selection of childrens DVD's. The enclosed garden is wonderful, the cottage is close to lots of attrations and there are lots of lovely pubs and restaurants nearby. We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Plume of Feathers, and a fantastic meal at Viners Restaurant. Dairyland is a brilliant day out for children and only a five minute drive away, and also the Lappa Valley steam railway is close by. "
Miss C, Newport, Gwent, 19th Sep 2009

"The Byre Cottage is delightful. It has everything that you could need and is set in beautiful, quiet surroundings, close to all attractions. The owner provides a very warm welcome and ensures that everything is perfect for your stay. A wonderful holiday was had by all."

We were welcomed on arrival by the house keeper and were looked after throughout our stay. The accommodation was clean and spacious throughout, and the views were stunning from all aspects of the house. A lovely property that I would recommend for those wishing to have a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings. "
Mrs G, BIRMINGHAM, 21st Dec 2009

"The house is in a lovely central location for visiting the moors and the coastal towns. Ashburton itself, is a lovely interesting town with everything you need in it, including the Red Mullet, a very nice take-away for fish and chips. A very nice pub to eat at is The Rising Sun in Woodlands, about 1 mile from Ashburton."
Mrs M, Upminster, 14th Aug 2009

"We like to holiday with extended family so this holiday home was perfect as there was enough room not to get under each others feet. The views were glorious and peaceful. The location of the home was ideal, with so many attractions just a short car journey away!! If we return to Devon we would defintely want to stay at Torns Park, Ashburton again!"
Mrs R, Beverley, North Humberside, 24th Jul 2009

"The location/views from the property are stunning, you can be in Dartmoor National Park in minutes and enjoy amazing walks/views. This is a real "get away from it all" holiday in a great older style English house. It will spoil you for staying anywhere else. Most importantly for us our dogs are always welcome which means we are happier and relaxed."
