The accommodation was comfortable. The kids loved the hot tub but I felt that the hot tubs' position was a bit off putting because it didn't provide any privacy. The walks & surrounding areas were beautiful. I would definately like to return to go on some of the walks we didn't complete.

Lodges are private and secluded with outstanding views across open countryside. A peaceful place without being too cut off. Would definitely go back to this lodge park and area."
Mrs R, Poole, Dorset, 21st Sep 2009

"Clean, well equipped lodges in a very tranquil site, very friendly owners. If you would like a peaceful holiday in well kept grounds and short journeys to many attractions this is for you."
Mr M, Havant, Hampshire, 5th Sep 2009

"We would definitely recommend this park to others. Whilst there are no on-site facilities, it is so central to so many wonderful attractions you simply don't need them. Very peaceful, brilliant views, and the foxes and badgers were the icing on the cake!"
Mr J, SHIPLEY, 29th Aug 2009

"The location of the lodges was perfect for peace and quiet, and a good central location within the area for many days out."
Miss E, Holywell, Clwyd, 22nd Aug 2009

"A peaceful location and homely and comfortable accomomdation. The best UK self-catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and we will DEFINITELY return for years to come, 10/10 !"

A must for people wanting a quiet peaceful site, but only a couple of miles away are all the pubs, shops and entertainment you could want. First Class!"
Mr R, WALSALL, 3rd Oct 2009

"Excellent base for Newquay beaches and surrounding area. Lovely site in beautiful location, great value for money, small, friendly, relaxing and peaceful. Excellent accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be returning soon. "
Mrs D, NEWARK, Nottinghamshire, 24th Sep 2009

"Great location for Newquay. Camp great value for money. The camp has very good facilities, swimming pool, laundrette, games room and great small bar. There is a good small well stocked shop. Well worth a stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. "
Mrs T, CLEETHORPES, 5th Sep 2009

"The park was quiet and the staff were really helpful every time we spoke to them. Would definitely recommend to others, we are planning on going again next year."
Miss B, NOTTINGHAM, 29th Aug 2009

"A welcoming and friendly park that treats everyone as though they are part of a family, and do anything they can to make you feel at home."

Miss W, TAUNTON, Somerset, 5th Oct 2009

"We were so impressed with this holiday park, everything was perfect! The staff were so helpful but not intrusive, and they were so friendly. We loved our lodge, it was the best we have ever stayed in - it was spotlessly clean with new cutlery and crockery, and very comfortable furniture and beds. The park was exceptionally well maintained with no area of grass uncut all the time we were there. It was only a short distance to many good resturaunts and places of interest to visit. We shall be returning again to the idyllic " River Valley" - I cannot recommend it highly enough, thankyou so much!"
Mrs B, Barnstaple, Devon, 14th Sep 2009

"A wonderful, perfect position for touring the West of Cornwall. The staff are very helpful and happy, and we had a hot tub and spent some lovely evenings watching the stars."
Mrs S, Hove, East Sussex, 12th Sep 2009

"It was a lovely park, very quitt, with ducks walking about or sitting on the river bank as you drive over the bridge, and they were also outside the reception area. Rabbits were running around outside the caravan and the children were thrilled!"
Mr G, NEWTON ABBOT, 31st Aug 2009

"Fabulous accommodation. First time booked with Hoseasons but will definitely book again."

The swimming pool was very warm."
Mrs L, LIGHTWATER, Surrey, 15th Aug 2009

"This was the best holiday we've had in the last 20 years. I would like thank everyone at Hoseseasons for making this holiday so enjoyable!"
Mr N, NOTTINGHAM, 27th Jun 2009

"The Porth Veor apartments were absolutely immaculate and superb - the house bathroom was even better than our own! A very large lounge/diner/kitchen - we didn't want to leave as they were extremely well appointed. Unlike a lot of places even if it had rained all day, we would have have been quite happy to have stayed in the villa as it felt just like home. We went to Menorca 3 weeks later and stayed in an apartment and we could not help comparing that one with the Porth Veor - in fact they were chalk and cheese. The one in Menorca was okay but we had no desire to linger longer than necessary, which was in contrast to Porth Veor where we would have been quite happy to have stayed there long term as it was pure luxury - we also had our own allocated parking space. The swimming pool was right outside the door and there were even tables and chairs to relax in outside the villa. We ate dinner in the hotels first class restaurant 'Beaucliffes' right on our doorstep, and as we were staying in one of their apartments on site we were given a discount. The meals were superb and we had a most amazing view from the restaurant. We shopped around for a good price for this holiday and Hoseasons had the best deal and we will certainly book with them again. We are quite hard to please but have to say we struck gold with these apartments at Porth Veor and can't wait to return, we will certainly recommend them to our friends - thanks!"
